I've been in the industry for 30 years (cough cough old) and I still love everything about it! I've got a passion for colour and precision cutting and smoothing treatments. 

I love providing a client focused service. Supporting my clients manage their hair after they leave my chair by either embracing or taming their hair texture.

I'm committed to using quality products that are safe for my clients, myself and the environment.

When I'm not in the salon you'll find me over at Salon Rising supporting and give back to the industry that has given me so much.

Or I'll be driving my teenagers around like a glorified unpaid Uber service. Probably cooking food because, again teenagers. Or you may even spot me cruising the streets trying to wear out my crazy beagle Raymond.

Hey, I’m Dakota — a school-based hairdressing apprentice working my way through the early stages of this amazing industry. I’m currently balancing school life with salon life, learning hands-on from talented stylists while building my skills, confidence, and creativity.

I’m passionate about all things hair — from shampooing and styling to learning colour and cutting techniques.

Besides being in the salon, I love to hang out with my friends and family
